K. Bain at the “Leadership Through Global Change” Summit in Abu Dhabi
Our Executive Director, k. Bain joined Global Public Health Experts at a session on Leading for Global Public Health: Lessons from a Pandemic, at the “Leadership Through Global Change” Summit, NYU Steinhardt, Abu Dhabi. The Panelists comprising experts from various fields in the public health sector, spoke on the state of global public health with emphasis on health infrastructures, policies and consequences of inadequate response to health delivery system. Mental health issues as a global crisis and the impact of the pandemic in exacerbating these issues also came for serious discussion by the
panelists. Special attention was focused on the Intersectionality of violence as a global public health issue and our Executive Director gave an expository presentation on the components of the Human Justice framework as a remediating model to ensure a sustainable global public health equity.
