CCD at the Ravenswood Clean Energy Power Plant Announcement
The CCD team was present as Rise Light & Power announced plans to redevelop the Ravenswood Generating station into a new renewable energy hub to help New York achieve its nation-leading climate goals. Our leadership at CCD has been at the forefront of advocacy for renewable energy in Black and Brown neighborhoods who are daily exposed to environmental pollution from fossil fuels and toxic substances with severe health implication to the communities. We are greatly inspired by the announcement of this project as an opportunity to transform New York city landscape and deliver
historic victories for environmental Justice.
